Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G (zircon) HyperOS 1 Repair Guide (DFT Pro)

Performing standard repair operations—such as direct ADB Repair or direct repair after Temp Root—on HyperOS 1.0 versions causes the device to crash and trigger the error: "This MIUI version can't be installed on this device." In this scenario, the device enters a hard brick or NV corruption state and will not boot without being reset.
You can safely perform the repair process on HyperOS 1 versions by following the steps below.
Step-by-Step Repair Process
1. Obtaining Temp Root
*Connect the powered-on device to the computer.
*Navigate to the Xiaomi > Adb Services tab in the DFT Pro interface and click the Temp Root button to grant temporary root privileges to the device.
2. Flashing the ENG Preloader
*Once Temp Root is successful, open the Partition Manager tab in DFT Pro.
*As shown in the image, select the appropriate zircon ENG Preloader file (preloader_zircon.bin) for the preloader:0 and preloader:1 partitions and flash them using the Write Partition option.
3. Device Check and Fastboot Mode
*Restart the device after the process is complete. Ensure the device boots up smoothly without entering a bootloop (confirming the ENG Preloader was installed correctly).
*Power off the device and put it into Fastboot mode.
4. Slot Switching and Patch Block Repair
*While in Fastboot mode, switch the device's active slot (A/B slot switch).
*Navigate to the DFT Pro Xiaomi > MediaTek section.
*Initiate and complete the IMEI repair process using the Patch Block option.
5. Reverting the Slot and Completion
After the repair process is finished, put the device back into Fastboot mode.
Switch the slot back to its default (original) position.
Restart the device normally. The process is complete.
